"If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants"
                         - Isaac Newton
After watching an extra credit movie on Michaelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel, my class and I decided to pull a prank on Mr. Harmon. We dubbed the prank/hack "Project Promdress" to avoid leaking the secret. After that idea, no action had been taken to execute it. I couldn't accept the fact that we wouldn't do this amazing prank, so I gathered the resources and led my class to complete Project Promdress.

AP EUROPEAN HISTORY "HACK"
BEFORE

We started on a Saturday morning in complete secrecy.

Project Promdress was designed to mimic the Sistine Chapel and incorporate many of our class inside jokes.

AFTER

There wasn't a blank spot on the ceiling after Project Promdress was completed. I took advantage of the huge printer in the engineering room to print pictures the size of tiles.

Our version of the Sistine Chapel remains on Mr. Harmon's ceiling today. The best part of the prank, was when he had to switch rooms. (He HAD to move it).

"HACKERS" AT WORK
The last foot took everyone's effort, because we had ten minutes to paint it. It turned out rather unique with all the different colors and patterns from the different painters. This foot along with the other yellow foot signify how our class stood on the shoulders of giants.

I painted two tiles with all of the students names to document the class who had a 97% passing rate on the AP European History Exam. This was my most favorite AP class, because everyday was a party and we were a very close knit group.
Paul and Emily diligently draw posters to be taped on the "Sistine Chapel" ceiling. This prank was subtle, clever, safe, and a collaborative effort among our whole class.
Throughout the year, we would add hilarious quotes said in class on to the "quote board". In order to preserve the hilarious quotes and inside jokes for other classes to come, we taped as many as we could to the ceiling.
This was the center piece of the entire prank. Mr. Harmon liked the fact that we compared him to God.
        Last minute touches.
After completing Project Promdress, we had yet another AP Euro party to celebrate our successful "Hack".
