This year at ASRA (2011) I made a pendulum wave in the Radical Math module. This project was an example of applied math, while most of the time we learned about theoretical math in Radical Math. Thank you to Will Steadman, Ed Moriarty, Tommy Moriarty, and to all of those who helped make this project available. The pendulum definitely attracts a crowd! Look it even attracted you!
